The band, often shortened to TAGABOW, has announced an extensive U.S. tour that will take them across the country this fall before bringing them back home for a December 18 show at Union Transfer. The run begins in Baltimore on October 29 and includes stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Brooklyn, and more before closing out in Philadelphia.
For a band that has grown from DIY basements and warehouse shows into one of the most talked-about names in modern shoegaze and experimental rock, the hometown finale feels like a fitting way to cap off what has already been a breakout stretch.
The tour announcement arrives alongside a new collaborative track, "Charter Spec," recorded with Boston indie rock outfit Horse Jumper of Love. According to the band's announcement, the song serves as the first glimpse of a forthcoming mixtape, although additional details have yet to be revealed.
TAGABOW's momentum has been building steadily. What began as a solo project led by Doug Dulgarian has evolved into a full band featuring Emily Lofing, P.J. Carroll, and Ben Opatut. Their most recent album, Lotto, showcased a more focused four-piece lineup while continuing the band's signature blend of swirling guitars, digital textures, and chaotic beauty. The record earned widespread acclaim and further established the group as one of Philadelphia's most innovative musical exports.
For Philadelphia fans, the Union Transfer date is likely to be one of the most anticipated local shows of the winter. After spending nearly two months crisscrossing the country, TAGABOW will return to the city that helped shape them, bringing a national tour full circle in front of a hometown crowd.
Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
